It doesn't matter how often I change Baby Bug's diaper, she will still end up with diaper rash.
Description from the website:
DIAPER GOOP® is a product developed for use on Diaper Rashes on children and adults. It contains Lanolin and other Natural Ingredients that not only help prevent dipaer rash but also naturally and quickly assits in the healing of irritated skin. Diaper Goop is available without a prescription. What we've found is that it really does work in treating and preventing diaper rash. It wasn't an overnight solution but Baby Bug's diaper rash was gone within a couple of days. The only thing I would suggest is that they package the product in a tube instead of a jar. I think it would be a little more convenient and the creme wouldn't get under my nails.
Other than that, we loved it!

ReplyDeletewhoops i forgot this part. i use corn starch followed by butt paste or desitin, a nice pasty formula cures it. i am linking to your site by putting it as a must read.

ReplyDeletePlease pick me!

Have you tried cloth diapers? I hear there are much fewer diaper rashes with cloth. We are planning on using cloth on our little one due in June.
ReplyDeletelucycontest at gmail.com
I usually use A & D ointment or Lansinoh. I have found that Lansinoh works super when the little bum is really sore. It is so sad when they have such a sore bum!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! I am subscribed to your feed. I love your blog! :)
I have had great luck with Aquaphor...Luckily, my daughter hasn't had too many bad rashes despite the warm, humid climate which is a perfect breeding ground.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the dish on the goop!
i use desitin -it has worked well for me...
ReplyDeleteannjsav at gmail dot com
We try to keep her as dry as possible
ReplyDeleteWe usually use butt paste, however on some open rashes (that bled) I have used antibiotic cream.

ReplyDeleteHi Kailani,
ReplyDeleteI don't need to be in on the giveaway however, way back when my kids were in diapers...I know, this is ancient history...I used cloth diapers. Disposable ones gave them a rash if used for more than a day. I only used disposable if we were going to be away from home overnight.
Gross huh??
Do people even know what a cloth diaper is anymore?
The only thing that works for us is Dr. Smith's and it is expensive - I would love to try this stuff!
ReplyDeleteI make my own paste of honey and extra virgin olive oil.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a lot of diaper rash since we switched to cloth, but we used destin.. my mom swears by A&D ointment. Right now we're using the Aveeno stuff! It works great!
ReplyDeletea&d ointment is what i always use.
ReplyDeleteI use Desitin some and cornstarch and always cloth diapers except for nights and away from home times! frogz60@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI always check to see if my daughter has a dry diaper to prevent any diaper rashes. If she has any diaper rashes I let her air it out and apply butt paste that always seems to work :-)

ReplyDeleteI use Johnson's No More Rash cream. It works great and the rash is cleared up in a day or two. I've also used A & D diaper rash ointment.

to prevent diaper rash you should always stay dry and clean.
ReplyDeleteWe use A & D ointment and it works for us.
ReplyDeleteWe used A&D for those few occasions when my daughter got a rash. When she got a wicked diaper rash last month from being sick, it didn't seem to be helping so I tried the Lansinoh Lanolin ointment that I had just bought for nursing my son. The rash looked a lot better the next morning. I think it was the Lanolin that helped.
ReplyDeleteWhen I used cloth, my kids never got a rash. However, the few times I did use disposables and they got red, I'd let them run around nekkid for a bit :)
ReplyDeleteWe used the trusted German brand Penaten on our baby's bottom. It has been used in my family for decades.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest son always had such a bad diaper rash. The only thing that helped was cloth diaper changed often.
ReplyDeleteWe used to use baby powder to help prevent rashes for my little one.
ReplyDeleteWe've been using corn starch for 3 generations in our family. But my son has a new baby on the way and he is not real big on my home remedies, so I know he'd love to try an actual product for his child.

I have always used Desitin! I love it and it works great.
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long ago but the only sure fire way I remember is to potty train the baby!
ReplyDeleteWe normally use pure Zinc Oxide to treat diaper rash. If it's really bad we mix Zinc Oxide and A&D making our own goop. Sure would be nice ot have it already premade!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen my babies were small, we used some kind of lanolin based cream that was used for animals, but it worked!!
ReplyDeleteWe use desitin on him when we see a little red...and always change him often. Thanks

Connor gets awful butt rashes too at almost no notice.. the only thing ive found that helps is resalin (however you spell it) but its insainely expensive and its really only good once the rash has started and this child can wake up rash free and by afternoon have a butt bleeding rash.. he so has my skin!
ReplyDeleteI blogged your contest on Prize-A-Tron!

I usually use Desitin although with a couple of my babies I had to use butt paste
ReplyDeleteWe've tried so many things and are still looking for the perfect solution. A&D has worked best so far. But I'd love to try something new.

I usually use Desitin.
ReplyDeleteWe've used Desitin(sometimes works), Triple Butt Paste (expensive and so strong the butt seems to become dependent on it) and our latest is Boudreaux's butt paste, which seems to work. Would love to try the Goop

ReplyDeleteI change my baby's diapers frequently and use corn starch to keep her dry.
ReplyDeleteWe use Arbonne diaper rash cream.
ReplyDeleteButt paste always worked really well, but good old Johnsons powder worked good too.
ReplyDeletedesitin works great :)
ReplyDeleteJust a thin coat of Desitin.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to prevent diaper rash is to give your baby bare butt time.
ReplyDeleteI just try and keep her changed when I first notice she is wet. Doing this I have never had a problem with diaper rash.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!

ReplyDelete"butt paste" works really good for my son
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of Desitin Creamy. It goes on so easy.
ReplyDeleteI used cloth
ReplyDeleteVery simply its a combination of the Johnson/Johnson Daper Creme and the talcum powder with cornstarch base. No problems clears up quicker than a "New York Minute". Best of luck to all who enter. Many Thanks !!! SW
ReplyDeleteThis is something I'd totally love to have for my son right now.
ReplyDeleteDesetin - plus, you can buy it at costco.
ReplyDeleteI use Desitin. I subscribed to your feed.
ReplyDeleteI usually use A & D ointment,or Desitin and/or corn starch. I have not tried butt paste, but have considered it. Maybe Diaper Goop would be the answer to a prayer! Thanks for another great contest.
ReplyDeleteTo get rid of a diaper rash, you need to let the air get to the area. I let him go without a diaper for awhile. That helps more than anything.
ReplyDeletewe usually use buttpaste or a nystatin/hydrocortisone/zinc mixture. our daughter has keratosis polaris, her skin is very sensitive.
