Review & Giveaway: Build-A-Bear Workshop

What child doesn't love Build-A-Bear Workshop? I know my girls can't walk past the store without insisting on going in. That's why I don't know how we got so lucky to be able to review the newly released Tropical Hello Kitty by Sanrio.

When it arrived in it's cute little cardboard home, Girlie Girl's first comment was, "Wow, she's so soft." And she was! It was all I could do not to keep squishing her! She had on a cute little demin skirt and tee that said "Hello Kitty Hawaii" on it. The outfit was completed with a pink flower on her left ear. I guess that means she's not available, huh?

Did you know that Build-A-Bear Workshop has a flickr album dedicated just to Hello Kitty? Stop by and check out all the new homes she has! Can you guess which is my photo?

To celebrate her arrival, Build-A-Bear has generously donated a $25 gift card to be used at their store. To enter:
  • Stop by their site before June 16th and take a look around.
  • Come back and mention which animal is your favorite. That's it!
  • A random winner will be selected and notified on June 17th.
  • The winner will then have 3 days to claim their prize.

I would have to say that my favorite, which I know my daughter would love is the Hello Kitty Tropical Kitty. I also think that she would love the 18" Pawfect Pink Leopard.     My favorite is the Tan Swirl Bunny, but we already have that one! My favorites that we don't have are the White Tiger and the Adorable Elephant, but I'm about 90% sure that if I win this gift certificate, it'll go for the Happy Chick for my stuffed animal-loving 7-year-old who has been hoping for one!

    Oh my gosh..so many choices. I love the orange kitty or the little purple teddy bear. My youngest son loves the Cheetah (he collects stuffed Cheetahs) and my oldest loves the turtle! How could you choose just one?

    We love Build-A-Bear around here and the girls have several. These things wear well!!! While it is almost time to get Ian his first, which we probably will for his bday or Christmas, my fave is the Tropical Hello Kitty- I mean, Hello it's the Kitty- and she would go great with my HK pink sunglasses. ;)

    The WWF Cheetah is very cool. I love that they donate money to a great cause. And my daughter loves any type of "cat".

    I haven't been in one of the stores in over a year. My daughter aged out of it, but now my son is 4, and I know he'd love to go. He's been playing with my daughter's handmedowns.

    My girls and I love everything Build a Bear! A favorite for me is the traditional but ever loved 16 inch Curly Teddy. I loved this bear the first time I saw it, and still love it each time I lay eyes on it. Everything a teddy bear should be, I think! Thanks for the chance to win such a terrific and fun prize!
