My girls are big Nickelodeon fans. Everything from The Wonderpets, Blue's Clues, Wow Wow Wubbzy, Dora, and of course, The Backyardigans.The Backyardigans are back in a brand new DVD - High Flying Adventures - where the gang goes on 4 different escapades accompanied by various types of music. My girls are obsessed with max & Ruby. Those bunnies just have that "Je ne sais quoi" that all of our preschool friends love.
Backyardigans is our absolute favorite. I think I might like it as much as the kids. Everyone in the family can be heard singing songs from the shows at random times throughout the day - even my husband! :) We would love, love, love to win this DVD.

I really find it fascinating the amount of research they do in to how young children actually learn.
I believe at first the producers thought that they needed to impress kids with new and interesting stuff all the time, but actually that just frustrated young kids, whereas they loved some things that adults find repetitive because they were safe and familiar.
You have a very good blog that the main thing a lot of interesting and useful!
