These days, it's hard to find quality family entertainment for kids of all ages. That's why our family has always been big fans of Veggie Tales.

From the site: Meet Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry – two friends homesteading along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River. Tom and Huck look forward to owning their own land, building a home and opening Huck’s Jerkyland and Tom’s Tax Preparation. What's not to love about Veggie Tales? We have about 20 of them (not this one, though!) They are funny, faithful, and probably my favorite part...full of great music! It all started with the "complete silly song collection" that we got for my firstborn's first Easter. We are addicts now.

I have to admit, because my hubby is a postal worker, we love the "mail, mail, here is your mail" song on the TV version. We also sing "Yippe ki yo ki yeah, today is your special day" for everyone's birthday (from the Ballad of Little Joe)

Great giveaway!

I love how creative the songs are, and how adults like them too (I sing them through out the day) :)

the silly songs that stick in your head....admit it, it's much more fun to be singing "oh where is my hairbrush" than...say...."everything we do at Belk is all for you" LOL!! And Larry just cracks me up. OH yeah, and since it's not all about me, I'd have to mention the kids like veggie tales, too. HAHAHA. Thanks for the contest...hope I win. *GRIN*

My 3 1/2 year old loves Veggie Tales. We started to have issues with telling fibs and I found Larry Boy and the Fib from Outer Space. My son loves it, and now understands that saying things that are not true can hurt people. They have such a good message, and are not violent or just plain pointless like many other cartoons in the world today.

There are so many good things about Veggie Tales that I can't name them all. I love that there is a cartoon based on real bible scriptures with fun characters that my kids can relate to. It's not overly scriptural, but just enough to still keep it fun without being too preachy for kids.
