I'm always looking for ways to make bedtime a little easier for the girls and for myself. That's why I was thrilled to receive a copy of Stardust Lullaby - Audible Chocolate for Sweet Dreams.

Being a jazz lover myself, I especially enjoyed this wonderful musical compilation. The 2-disc set included familiar lullabies which the girls could relate to as well as brand new songs that are sure to become some of our family's favorites. The best part is that it's all presented in a way that not only appeals to children but to parents as well. No matter how hectic my day was, I found myself starting to relax to these very soothing tunes.

It also came with a lyric book for those like me who sometimes forget the words. Thank goodness since my girls think I know everything! LOL!

Now for the good part, Stardust Lullaby has generously donated two (2) copies to be given away to some very lucky people!

The first thing I noticed was that it has a very stylish look. Now if only I could get it out of the packaging! I swear this thing is so packed protected that I feared bodily injury when trying to free it from it's plastic. However, once that was accomplished, setting it up was a breeze. As another reviewer said, "It's so easy, even a caveman could do it." I'm not kidding! The instruction manual that came with it is only a piece of paper because that's really all that's needed.

What I really liked about this MP3 player is the FM tuner. It's kind of cool to be able to listen to the local news updates or traffic reports whenever you want to. The reception is crisp and clear and you're able to program 20 of your favorite stations.

Loading music, photos, and videos were a breeze. This player is not compatible with iTunes, however, Best Buy does have it's own Digital Music Store. If you really wanted to, you could burn a CD copy of your iTune purchases, download them to this program, and sync your player. Not a big deal.

It's pretty cool to have a video player on hand especially when grocery shopping with the kids. Anything that keeps them quiet in public for a decent amount of time is always a plus for me! And since it has a media card slot, memory is never a problem.

All in all, I love this MP3 player. And coming from an iPod diehard, that's saying a lot. For the price of $129.99, this presents an affordable option for those looking to take their music on-the-go.

That Baby CD is a music collection for kids like no other. Instead of listening to Barney or The Wiggles, you can now enjoy acoustic cover versions of songs by Fleetwood Mac, Neil Diamond, The Pretenders, Joni Mitchell, and many others.

Now, I'll be honest . . . I was never a big fan of some of these musicians (I can hear the booing already!) but I have to say that I really did enjoy these remakes of some very popular songs. And better yet, my kids really enjoyed them. As soon as I played the CD, Baby Bug started swaying her head back and forth. I would have gotten a video of her but she wasn't very presentable at the time. Girlie Girl wasn't as interested but she still stuck around to listen to the whole thing. For her, that's saying a lot.


Now the DVD was another story. I loved the animation and graphics that went along with the songs. It made the music come alive and helped to give it a more personal feel. My favorite was Happiness Runs/Circle Game where you followed a beautiful animated butterfly into a forest of colorful trees. It was simply mesmerizing!

All the songs are performed by Stephanie Schneiderman, a singer/songwriter from Portland and are aimed for children from 0 to 5 years old. However, I'm sure a lot of adults will enjoy it, too. One of the great things about this CD/DVD is that if your discs get scratched, stepped on, dropped under the car seat, or smeared with peanut butter, they'll replace them, free of charge. How cool is that?
